Diep City’s actress Lebohang ‘Khelina’ Mpyana laid to her final resting place!

Mzansi’s beloved actress Lebohang Mpyana, aka Khelina has been laid to rest.

The actress, comedianee, and master of ceremonies was laid to her final resting place at Mokgokong Cemetery in Mmotong, Limpopo on November 11.

Lebohang died after a short illness on November 02, this was announced by the family spokesperson T Mpyana on her Facebook page.

On November 08, friends, relatives, and her former colleagues paid tribute to the talented actress at the Library Gardens, Auditorium in Polokwane.

Among those who attended the memorial service were Thobela FM programmes manager Florina Sebola, radio host Lenny T Legodi,  gospel singer Shibu Molomo, singer Motlanalo Rammola, comedian Thabang ER and social media influencers such as Bethuel “Leparadi” Makgoba and Mahlako “Rakgadi” Kgamedi.

The 34-year-old rose to fame with her funny and entertaining videos on TikTok, with her popular singing out poetic line O nhlokomele (watch me), which later landed her a tv acting gig.

Lehohang won the hearts of many people as she graced television screens for portraying the character of “Khelina”, a nosy and gossipmonger on Diep City, which was later cancelled.

The star has played with legendary actors such as Sonia Mbele, Dawn Thandeka King, Hamilton Dlamini, and Mduduzi Mabaso.

In 2021 she won the Viewers Choice Best Actress Award, at the Royalty Soapie Awards.

Many people will miss Lebohang with her amusing videos and talent for acting.
