South Africa may be entering  the fifth wave of Covid-19 infections. On Thursday, and Friday, the National Institute for  Communicable Diseases recorded nearly over 10, 000 new  infections, with most of infections concentrated in Gauteng province. Yesterday, the Department of Health reported 8 524 new cases and a total of 11 deaths, bringing the number of fatalities to  100,  516 in total. The number of recoveries now stand at  3 676 810 with a recovery rate of  95,9%. Two Omicron sub-variants are driving  an increase in Covid-19 cases in South Africa and could push the country to the fifth wave. Vintage Gurus House of Entertainment is a movement from Polokwane Limpopo, that was established in 2017, by 10 friends ,who had common interest in vintage clothes. The movement now has 150 members. The Gurus pride themselves with wearing vintage clothes and listen to old music. They aim to remind  the  youth  about values and standards, using old fashioned clothes ,  and ancestral old dance moves. Founder of   the movement, Daniel Motsepe said that the movement is made up of youth, with the aim of keeping young people off   the streets and busy . Aside from it being one of the simplest activity for kids that only requires a jump rope available at home, it is interesting and fun. Being a popular game across South Africa, it is known in different languages as Ntimo or Ugqaphu. Kgati is a game that requires fitness, coordination and a melodious singing voice.
