Radio personality and deejay Lebohang “DJ Naves” Naves, has announced his departure from Metro FM.

The radio personality took to social media to announce to his fans, and followers that he is bidding farewell to the station.

He shared a video with pictures of him and colleagues, highlighting some of his best moments with the station.

“Looking back on my time at Metro FM, I’ve has a great privilege chance to be part of some great shows like Rhyme&Reason, #ThePreparty, #TheKingsSuite and #KingsoOfTheWeeekend. It’s been such an awesome growth over the years,” he wrote.

The deejay is also a member of the duo, popularly known as Kings of the Weekend, dubbed KOTW.

DJ Naves expressed his gratitude for Metro FM for granting him an opportunity to be part of the station.

He also pointed out that his last show with the station will be on January 27.

Additionally he said: “Change is always there and it’s time. I’m not scared of it. It’s a news start, a chance to learn, and a time to creat a fresh slate. I’m so thankful for the experiences, opportunities, and the incredible people I’ve worked with - some of whom have become lifelong friends.”

 The radio personality stated that he will soon share with his fans about his next venture.

“I’m pumped for the next adventure and the next parts of the #KOTW journey that I’ll soon share with you.”

His Industry mates, fans and followers headed to the comment section to wish him well in his new adventure.
