Zahara to be laid to rest on December 23

The body of Loliwe hitmaker Bulelwa Mkutukana, who was popularly known as Zahara has arrived in her hometown, East London in the Northern Cape.

The videos of the body of Zahara has been making rounds on social media platforms. 

Zahara’s body was departed in a white casket from from the memorial service which was held at Rhema Bible Church, in Randburg, on December 14, where family, friends and industry mates were gathered to pay their respects.

The talented afropop singer and songwriter will be raid to her final resting place in hometown, East London, on December 23.

Zahara passed away at the age of 36 on December 11.

Her death was announced by the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture Zizi Kodwa on X (previously known as Twitter.

The multi-award winner singer will be remembered with her hit songs such as Loliwe, Ndiza, Phendula, Bendirongo and others.
