"Baby Shower?": Social media users mock popular gospel singer Solly Moholo for announcing that he is available for bookings, even Babyshowers

Solly Moholo, a well-known gospel singer, has announced that he is now available for bookings for various gatherings. 

The Ke Latlhile Botsotsi hitmaker announced on his Facebook page with a poster that he is available to perform at weddings, parties, funerals, babyshowers, stockvels, socials, concerts, tombstone unveilings, and festivals.

“Solly Moholo available for bookings.For information contact the numbers on the poster,” reads the post.

His announcement, however, has resulted in Facebook users roasting him for indicating he is eager to sing at various events, including babyshowers.

His post saw close to 2 000 likes, with more than 400 comments and over 1 000 shares.

“Baby Shower ke gana 😭😭,” this is one of the comment from the announcement post of the Moruti Nthapelele singer.

Facebook users rushed to the comments section, with some wondering if he would perform gospel songs at the babyshowers.

“I wouldn't feel comfortable with Solly Moholo singing 'ke lahlile botsotsi' at my woman's baby shower,” said Facebook user Lesego Maake.

Kagiso KG Modimola commented: “ baby shower 🤔🤔🤔.”

“Bra Solly what do you do at baby showers?,” Tshephang Mphahele said

Buti Nape Mathabatha also commented on the post and said: “ Not Baby-Showers hle .Auwa!🤦‍♂️.”

Meanwhile, some Facebook users congratulated him and wished him luck in getting bookings.

In a separate post, the gospel artist shared a poster of himself with a joyful expression wearing a newborn bonnet and carrying a newborn baby bottle.

He captioned his post: “ Here it is, 😊Solly Moholo available for babyshower bookings ☺️. Contact the numbers below for information.”

Facebook users commented on the post with some saying - “ Aowa ntate Solly. Omoholo for this.”

“ Ke sure kedi baby shower tsa Soulo,” More’k Mahlangu commented.
