Metro FM presenter Mantsoe Pout has announced that she is leaving the station after 18 months.

Mantsoe Pout as she was widely known on the airwaves was hosting a show called Radioactive from 00:00 to 00:03 on Friday midnight.

Making her announcement on her Instagram account, on September 29, Mantsoe said the time has come for her to bid the station, Metro FM adieu.

Fans and followers heard her voice on the airwaves for the last time as she presented the show - Radioactive on Metro FM.

“ To have had the privilege to ride national airwaves was definitely a dream realised, and I’ll forever be thankful to have gotten this opportunity,” she said in her post.


Mantsoe revealed that she has been with the station for 18 months, and thanked the management of the station for granting her an opportunity to be part of the station.

All of this could have not been possible without the support from her fans and listeners, she thanked them.


“Thank you to each and every listener who opened their hearts to me and stuck with me through each and every moment from earthquakes to some of the prolific interviews in my career.”

She added, as she thanked her colleagues, “To my colleagues who became very good friends, my love for you have no bounds. We’ll continue our friendship on the streets ๐Ÿ˜….”


“I’ll be sharing what my next adventure us very soon but for today, i just wanted to give my love and appreciation to you, the listener, who keeps me going,” she wrote in her post.


Fans and colleagues flocked to the comment section as she bids farewell to the station.


Her colleague @Lerato Kganyago commented and said, “ Love you always ❤️.”


@Zandile Hopa also commented, “❤️❤️❤️❤️๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ.”
